What's Going On?

Lately I’ve had such a hard time digesting some of the stuff that makes the news.

First story is Food police replace another homemade sandwich

Why is anyone checking someone’s sandwich? I wish they did this when I went to school - they would had gotten some eggplant parmiggiana with lots of tomato sauce on their face. Maybe schools should get back to their primary mission and that is to teach

 Another story was, Arizona sheriff quits Romney campaign, says “I’m gay”

Why is this news? And why do I have to know that someone is gay? What am I supposed to glean from this?

And lastly, New web video shows Mitt Romney hounded by dog problems

Imagine that someone’s electability is to be based on something that happened about 25 yrs. ago involving the way a dog was transported. Are all dog owners now going to switch support?

In the meantime who is addressing the pressing issues that plague the country today? History has a way of repeating itself. Remember Nero fiddled while Rome burned.
