It could be highly anticipated that no matter what happened the NBA finals were going to be tied at one game apiece - Mr. Stern cannot have a short series - there's too much ($$$) at stake. He needs this to go at least six and hopefully seven games. To me the sooner it ends the better.
As seen in the Boston series with the Heat (I don't know what's hot about them) the fix was in for a Heat-Thunder series, a LeBron- Durant match up. Now the question remains is not what players or team is going to win this series but who Mr. Stern wants to win.
The sport that Mr. Naismith gave us has turned into another one - a combination of football and basketball. The athletes no longer control the game because on each play one can call a foul so it ends up in the hands of the officials to decide who, what, where, and why they call an infraction on. The fan is often left to ask how could he could call a foul on him or why didn't he get called for a foul.
The word is out to all officials from Mr. Stern that LeBron is to be treated a little bit different. We don't want our NBA showcase to be sitting on the bench.
Stern your product sucks.
