Today's edition of the Boston Globe has the following headline
Coakley rules out more indictments in Big Dig
Well it looks like they found their sacrificial lamb (Powers Fasteners) and will not go any further.
Isn't interesting that the company cited is from out of state (New York). What happened to all the other companies? Is it possible that some politicians are protecting them for fear of being exposed themselves as having ties to them?
These politicians must think that every citizen of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is a gullible fool. We allow the likes of Matt Amorello and company to leave scott free at our great expense. He joins the elite crowd of Cardinal Law, Tom Finneran and the little Caesar himself, Bill Bulger of people who screwed over others and were rewarded.
Let the first politician that is without handout(s) from the Big Dig project throw the first stone. I don't think you'll find one.
The investigation into the Big Dig fiasco should not have been handled by anyone connected to this corrupt state. All the time and money spent until now has been a waste. Whatever has been done up until now has done nothing to wash away the blood of Melina that is on the hands of all that have profited from the project.
Maybe if we all rise up and stop paying the tolls, maybe then someone will start paying attention to the citizens of this state.
