Bush on Iraq Gets a D

Let me preface this by saying that I'm not a Bush hater, I just think that he should leave quietly and go back to his ranch tending to the brush.

Once again he's going to come before the American people tonight to tell us of his upcoming plans for Iraq. What the heck can he possibly tell us when all along he has refused to listen to anyone outside of his tightly knit closed minded circle that got him and us where we are today?

Isn't it interesting that the week before The General is supposed to brief Congress that the person we have failed to capture or kill, Osama Bin Laden, resurfaces sporting a newly dyed beard? His timing is uncanny - Scorcese couldn't have filmed it any better. It's almost like he's saying, "Not too fast people, I'm still around."
It will be interesting to see if Bush mentions him in his speech.

Isn't it also interesting how the tables have turned on this President - four years ago we were entertained by the stupidity of one called Baghdad Bob, now we have our own in Boo Boo Bush. I just hope that we he's on TV tonight, he wipes that smirkish grin off his face.

I know you're going to try and con us into believing that you are going to start bringing some troops home, but most people, other than the Kool_Aid Bush drinking crowd, we'll see that you are just stalling for time until the next President comes in. You're not cleaning up anything, you're just sweeping your mess under the rug.

Mr. Bush you supposedly know a little about baseball and should realize that in each game there's comes a critical decision that the manager must make and that is when to take out the starting pitcher.

You sir are killing our great pitching staff that is made up of the men and women who serve this country. You've killed our starters by having them pitch into extra innings - 9 innings was not good enough for you. You have killed our bullpen in the process. We should feel lucky that nothing else has happened otherwise we would all be toast.

Not only have you extended the number of innings you expected them to pitch, you have even shortened their rest between starts. You see sir, we have a very tired and weary group. You have no choice but to bring them out of the game.

You just have to have faith in turning over the game to the rookies from Iraq.

I was rooting for you sir for awhile and hoped that you would have fired some of your coaching staff sooner, but overall I must give you a grade of D.
