War

This is what war has to offer!
The most blunders in reality
And the most horrible of solutions

Tearing at life that doesn’t belong to it
Tearing at love until the end.
Dirty politics of nations
Waged strictly for money and corporations
Deaf tears that no one sees

Life is sacred to Our Lord
Great abomination
Tears at His heart

The Sad Consequences of War.

The following was written by 14 year old, Said Islam Yacoub from Cameroon, an orphaned (father) boy who was separated from his mother on March 17, 2011. He was picked up by Gheddafi’s police and put on a boat that brought him to Italy’s island of Lampedusa, where thousands of North African migrants, including many Libyans, have arrived recently. He is being held in an ex-military base along with 169 other minors and thousands more awaiting a transfer.

To my mom

The love of a child for his mom.
I write this letter to tell you that I love you. From the time we were separated, I think of you day and night, the nights are very long for me being away from you. You are the most beautiful woman in the world, all the children dream of having you on earth; you are the best mother I could have ever dreamed of. One day I became separated from you mom. Do you know that if you were a flower I would plant you in my heart and I would water you with my hands? When I think of you tears start to fall.

If today I’m here without you, I feel all alone in the world and there’s nothing that can be done because you are the one that counts the most for me, the dearest in the world. I dream of one day finding you safe and sound, your little nursery rhyme songs heighten my morale and give me hope of being a child who is loved by his mother.

I want to be the happiest in the world, like the other children on earth basking in the joy of your presence. I promise that I will fight as I can with all my strength to find you. I know that you are alive and are thinking of me. I will always be focused in all I do praying to a merciful God, the most merciful. I know you hear me without sleep or drowsiness; you are present in your throne. Among all the children, help me find my family. I want to be the happiest in the world and it will be the day in my life that I’ll never forget.

Help me out of this grid.
