The only way to get out of our current financial mess is to dig. Dig not to lower ourselves as Toles depicts in his poignant cartoon but to dig a hole to place our inept Senators and Congressmen in.

2012, which is a re-election year, will find these politicians spend the least amount of time on the job since they will be back home campaigning. Keep your shovels to dig out from the manure that they will be spreading throughout America.
