God is Our Guide

As I was watching the sea gulls pictured above feeding on the fish, I thought of the saying that I would hear in my youth whenever things seemed desparate for some - it was "God provides."

 

If God provides for these birds how much more does he provide for us?

 

Our Father in Heaven wants the best for us. He has a perfect plan for our lives. Our key to living out His plan is to be in tune with His will. (Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven)

 

How do you know if you are doing His will? Think about your life. Is God providing you with the necessary "tools" to go in the direction you are taking?  Remember, only where God guides, will God provide. Where God does not provide, He is not guiding.

Pray for his guidance.

Psalm 48:14 For that is what God is like. He is our God forever and ever, and he will be our guide until we die.

 

 Psalm 139 O LORD, you have probed me and you know me;
you know when I sit and when I stand;
you understand my thoughts from afar.
My journeys and my rest you scrutinize,
with all my ways you are familiar.
R. Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way.

 

Give thanks and praise to God for providing ALL things for us. Ask for forgiveness whenever you disobey or ignore His guidance. Cut off your self-centered way and ask for the wisdom and discernment needed to live your life doing His will. Amen
