Feeling Tired of Winter

Winter has yet to officially begin by calendar standard and I'm already starting to feel tired of it. I guess I'm sort of entitled to feel this way after having lived in the Boston area for 58 yrs. 

This morning I woke up to 0 degree weather and a forecast of 3-6 inches of snow on the way. Walking is trecharous in many spots as the snow fall from the other day has turned into ice. Yesterday's sun did nothing to melt it. Whatever little was being melted had soon turned to a glaze of ice.

I'm not looking for hot weather but something that I was used to in Gaeta, my birthplace and place of residence for the first 8 yrs. of my life. Cold there is high 30's low 40's and snow is a rarity
