A Million Wasted on a Coronation

It's been recently reported that the inauguration for our newly elected governor is going to cost over $1 million and that the partying will go on for about a week.

Right off the bat, I'm getting bad vibes from the new dude that will occupy the State House. I don't feel in a partying mood - not with the sad state of affairs in the City of Boston and Massachusetts.

When are we going to be represented and led by a man of the people?

How can these people be so in touch with the working class in the state when they throw around millions like it's a box of tissues.

It would have been a classy gesture to scale down the coronation and donate a portion of the affluence to serve the poor.

You still have a chance Mr. New Governor.
